New development or extensions to existing buildings constructed under BREEAM construction scheme will often require comprehensive indoor air quality plans (IAQP) to manage indoor air contaminants during the construction phase. Our IAQP are prepared to the highest standard required by the industry and in full accordance with the BREEAM New Construction –Assessor Guide Note –GN06.
Removal of contaminant sources;
Dilution and control of contaminants during construction;
Detail procedure for pre-occupancy flush out;
Specification for third party independent testing.
The plans are concise compiled with the use of clear non-technical jargon and cover all aspects of contaminants management and reduction to achieve adequate indoor air quality required by today’s high standards.
Compilation of adequate Indoor Air Quality Plans require the collection of information such as:
Building location and its surroundings;
Detail floor plans including rooms’ intended use;
Duration of the construction phase;
